This summer was full of amazing opportunities, and magical adventures. I say "Magical" because I went to the most magical place on earth. Disney World. My cousin and I spent five days going to the parks; Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Animal Kingdom. My favorite was Hollywood Studios, I loved the Hollywood Tower of Terror. A ride that takes you up 13 stories in a 'haunted' elevator, then drops you! Each time it changes and you never know when you will drop. The only negative thing about Disney was how crowded it was! I loved going to Disney and can not wait till I get the opportunity to go again!
ReplyDeleteA memorable moment this summer was beating Glendale in my last basketball summer shootout camp. It was memorable because it was my last shootout game ever. Also it was awesome because they are a 5a school and are a lot bigger than us. As well i enjoyed playing with my buddies and having a good time on the court however we missed Harry (Kaleb) Blackwell that game which was a bummer.
ReplyDeleteMany fun things happened over the summer but one thing that stood out to me was going to Alabama With Zach! We had a great time up the in Alabama.we swam in the ocean during a storm that was really fun the waves were huge We would jump in to the waves with our boogie bored and one time Zach dove in and got rocked by a wave in got hurt it was pretty funny. One thing that was boring though was para sailing but it still was a good memory to always remember. I had a great time going to Alabama with Zach. I wanna go to Alabama next summer but just a different Part. Overall i had a great summer and already looking forward to finish my senior year and be in the next summer
ReplyDeleteWell i had a lot of interesting things happen to me this summer but some that stand out are working and going to weights about every day. I worked for a construction company in Springfield but we mostly just done farm work. Which was nice because i sat in an air conditioned tractor. The crappy thing was going to weights every day then usually work afterwards. that defiantly was the only downfall in my summer.
ReplyDeleteProbably one of the worst moments of my summer was the last week of July. I wrecked my Honda CR-V going about 85. I was so lucky that I didn't die. My car swerved over in the other lane for about 50 feet, then it shot off into a field and went right in between 2 huge trees. Luckily, the only thing that happened was I knocked off my bumper and I got into a huge patch of poison Ivy. Which sucked pretty badly. But I'm alright and my car is already fixed. So everything is golden. All in all, it was a pretty good summer....Except for 2 weeks after I wrecked, I got a speeding ticket for going 55 in a 30...I'm not the best driver...Oh well. Maybe that'll be a wake up call.
ReplyDeleteThis Summer was the best Summer so far. I had football most of the Summer. I didn't work anywhere, i just did little side jobs. My grandparents bought me a new 2012 camaro, i drove it for a month then they decided that they wanted a 2013 camaro. We went and got it and thats what i am driving now.
ReplyDeleteThis whole summer has been so busy. I have done a lot of things over the break. One of things I enjoyed over the summer was probably just hanging out with friends on a summer night. Just chilling by a camp fire having a good time making memories. We would have to be doing anything at all and it would still be fun.
ReplyDeleteWell my summer was filled with cheer practices and they where really long and tiring. But, in the end it all paid off because we where back to back religion champs and that's the best feeling ever to have as a senior. I mean with the girls we have a the best because they are amazing and we get along so well its so much easier to get stuff done when we need to get it done. The special moment was when you look at everyone's faces and you see huge smiles on their faces and they are all so happy its the best feeling to have is to be on cloud 9 after that. I just wish that I could have that feeling for the next four years like some people are going to but that's alright at least I got to my senior year!!
ReplyDeleteI had a fantastic summer this summer. It was probably up there for the best summer i have had so far. I worked everyday and then hung out with my friends every night. I also went camping a couple times and that was a blast. I learned a lot of new things also from working on the farm that i worked at. I basically just worked my summer away and that is about it!
ReplyDeleteMy most interesting experience of the summer this year would have to be the day that my friend Cody and I went down the the river with some family and we tide up a rope swing. It was tide on the tree branch that we were standing on and it was about 14 foot tall. Its not all that safe for the fact that if you fall down with force and you hit the end of the rope its not a swing its a hold on fall then rip off your arms rope. But anyways by the time we finished the whole thing we ended up just having to clime down the rope with are hands instead of jumping.
ReplyDeleteThis summer I went on a float trip with my sisters and their friends. I also brought 3 of my friends along for the ride. We had a blast floating down the river. We used our life jackets to tie up our canoes and rafts. This was one of the most memorable parts of my summer.
ReplyDeleteThis summer was pretty amazing. I had lots of fun made some memories. However the funniest thing that happened while Me, Jamie, Katie and Devin went floating on tubes. What happened was we hit some rapids and and everybody made it just fine.... except for Jamie. She was the last one through and right before she hit the rapid she spun around backwards. The next thing I know is she is doing back flips in the water and her butt was stuck in the tube. At one point she was under water and all i could see was her but sticking out the tube. So funny!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOver the summer I went on a motorcycle trip with my dad. We went all over the States and our end goal was to land in Salem, OR on July 21 to be able to attend the International BMW motorcycle rally. The First leg of the trip started us in Springfield and we started going north to avoid the heat in the west central states. On the way up we stopped through some very interesting towns but where my memory comes in is when we stopped in a small town in montana. This small town had only a few restaurants and the one we went to for dinner was a strange one for sure. The place was called Uncle Santa's Burger Shack, and it was quite a shack. It had a small menu and I ordered the special, the "Peanutbutter Bacon Burger" with a side of potato pickle chips. It was a bun with a slice of apple and peanutbutter then a bunch of bacon and beef. It was pretty good and was really cheap
ReplyDeleteThis summer the first week we I got out of school on that weekend my family and I take rode trip to San Antonio Texas. It took about 13 hours’ drive, on the way to San Antonio I watched movie on my Laptop and take nap. The first time road trip I've ever gone was the first year in American for me; on the way I did not sleep because it was my first road trip in American. I looked out the window the whole time to see how American is a like. The best part was when we drive through the big city in Dallas because I love to see the tall building, I lived in the big city in china but it didn't have skyscraper like the city Dallas.... We go there at least once every year to visit my family. I had great time with my family, we went to the San Antonio Zoo saw all kinds of animal that we didn't have in Springfield Zoo....... My uncle he's is like pro bow hunter, he stared bow hunt since 26 years ago, so I learned lots bow hunting experience with him. The second week he bought me a bow 2013 Diemen infinity edge at his best friends bow shop, I practice shooting the bow for 3 days then next day we went bow hunting I shoot my first Axis deer ever in the morning, I was pretty excited and pumped wanting to kill more so at that night I went Hog hunting killed the first Hog ever also on the same day. Now my new hobby is bow hunting. This summer is the best summer so far, it is better the then any other summer.
ReplyDeleteWhen I think Summer, first that comes to mind. During the end of the summer, when the huge rain fall came and flooded my creek. I thought the bush would be terrible and cause damns all down the creek. Then Taylor, Garrett and I had a bright idea to float down the creeks on tire tube. BEST IDEA EVERY!!! After we floated three miles, we came back the next three days with more people. I love my creek so much that I would never want to leave if I had the chance. So next time there a ton of rain that flood creeks and rivers look for me in the inter tubes.
ReplyDeletefor Kayla Snider - My summer was extremely boring. I worked every day twelve hours a day. I worked as a babysitter or two kids, one seven, and the other was two. To get into daycare the two year old needed to be able to go to the restroom by himself, and let me tell you, that was very interesting. One day, I walked into the restroom to check on the little guy, and he was standing behind the door and peed all over my leg! It was so nasty. By far I'd have to say that was the more interesting thing that has happened over my summer break. I had a lot of fun with those two. They are such great kids. I'm sure going to miss them!
ReplyDeleteThis summer was a pretty good one for me. It was sad to know it is my last one before I am adult and go to college and work all the time. I think one of the best things of the summer was getting a job at Bass Pro. I love having money!! Other than that I just spent a lot of time at the river. I would say the other exciting moments of my summer were kayaking with friends. I just started kayaking this summer and there was never a dull moment. I loved the summer and did not want to come back to school but I am sure it will fly by being our senior year.
ReplyDeleteMy summer was awesome i guess. I have worked in the garden and putted food for winter and other stuff. I didn’t go on the vacation because my dad didn’t want to and he had to go to work. My mom said if we go then how we'll pay the bills and take care of the animals that we have.My family is a big family and that is one reson we never did go on the vacation.Well i went to branson for Fourth of July and it was pretty fun but i got sunburned bad but at east i had fun.
